Crystal clear
shining in moonlight
preserving everything
hiding nothing
encased quiet
wrapped and solid
closed yet open
like fossils
looks fragile
only to warmth
growing stronger
getting colder
covering all
yet hiding nothing
if only life
were like ice

so busy

blinding white
still falling
no noise
so quiet
piling higher
each one
atop another
still silent
listen close
hearing nothing
nonstop action
