Smile

And to my heart you make me smile

bring me happiness for a while

it can be silly it can be sweet

to touch a heart no easy feat

So easily you bring the smile to my face and heart

how to touch me deep inside you know just where to start

sometimes silly sometimes sweet all the time love from you

I am just amazed by this thing you do.

No matter what my day is like you are always there

with a quick smile and laugh waiting just to share

My heart it smiles every time along with my face

you know just how to touch me you know the exact place.

When I think of all the people who love me so

you are the first that my heart does know

and again I smile down to my heart into my very soul

nothing but the smile you give to always make me whole.

This could easily be a Hallmark card for Valentine’s Day or an Anniversary! You should look at starting a greeting card line Deb, I don’t comment on the poems that much because other then saying I like them I couldn’t quite figure out the style or feeling they give me until I read this one. I still don’t get how you are not writing for some major publication or have your own writing company in some form or fashion. You could do a whole series of cards based on the material you already have put a copyright on the back next to the barcode, sign your name and be in every card isle between California and Maine!

You know I have looked into that. It seems to be a very hard field to break into for some reason. Wouldn’t that be something, my own card line?!?!?! I wish I had time, money, contacts to investigate it lol Thanks for reading Rob 😀

I’m not quite prepared to comment, but I like to translate your beautiful poems in Italian 🙂
