It is of course a trifle
but there is nothing
so important
as trifles
Little things mean the most
a smile a touch a look
things others look
right past
Easily missed and dismissed
passing by without notice
take the time
see them
Nothing more important
than trifles
little things of course
are just trifles

Tags: quiet talk share life emotions

Stand with me here
upon the terrace
for it may be the last quiet talk
that we shall ever have
Let us talk now
just we two
sharing quietly in the dark
all that we are
Whisper with me
as we stand together
looking out into the night
talk to me
It may be the last quiet talk
we shall ever have
upon the terrace
stand with me here

Life is full of
whimsical happenings
so lightly fanciful
not at all serious things
Most subject to
erratic behavior
and breezes of
unpredictable change
Often amusing
these unexpected things
bringing a smile
to your face
Playful little quaint
occurrences
whimsical happenings
life is full of them

Heroes don’t exist
and if they did
I wouldn’t be one
of them
Conjured up in the mind
some sort of protector
good over evil
fantasy at best
In real life
never really found
once you get to know
the real person
But I wouldn’t be one
of them
if they did exist
but they don’t

The impression of a woman
may be more valuable
than the conclusion of
an analytical reasoner
A woman’s opinion could
benefit you more than
you could possibly know
at this moment
Women feel things that
other people do not
their emotions guide
their impressions
Far more than any
analytical reasoner
a woman’s impression is
infinitely more valuable

It is a capital mistake
to theorize
before one has
data
Put the cart before
the horse
Count your chickens before
they hatch
Cross your bridges before
you get to them
Assume makes an ass
out of you and me
Theorizing before one
has data
is indeed a capital
mistake
