Down in the docks of Galway a pub called Brennan’s located quietly along the quay
Inside to say there was decor would be an overstatement
Plain and simple a mans’ pub with stools lined up along the bar counter like ducks in a row
Pints with a white top as creamy as anything to be found on a dairy farm
Hard to find these days
And the crack being had with the lads just as mighty
A dart board could be found down the end
Difficult to hit a bullseye with a few Arthurs inside of you
And the toilets out the back where you could grab some fresh air and smoke the odd laid back
joint
After the quota of seven or eight of the black stuff had been reached
Off to the Nightclub
Where there were a whole lot of other stories to be told
